Pay Online - The fastest, most convenient way to pay your utility bill 24/7! You can pay online by credit card or by bank account (Please allow two business days for payments to post to your account).

Other Payment Options

  • In Person - You can pay your bill at the Utility Billing Division, located in the City’s Administration Building, 1 Benjamin Franklin Way (the corner of Fourth Street and Riley Blvd.) Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except holidays. We accept cash, check, money order, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
  • By Mail - You can mail your payment, but please assure you mail it in time to be received by the due date! Make all checks payable to the City of Franklin.
  • Online Banking - Many banks offer online bill pay to their customers - check with your banking institution to see if this option is available.
  • After Hours Drop Box - There is an After Hours Drop Box located in the City Administration Building’s parking lot - but please don’t deposit cash! To utilize the Drop Box, please place your bill and check or money order in a sealed envelope.

Please call the Franklin Police Division after hours if you see a water main break or experience a sewer backup. If you are calling about a shut-off for nonpayment, please be aware the Police Division cannot have your service turned back on. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions Section for information on restoring service.
