Parks

The Parks Division is responsible for developing, operating and maintaining the City’s park and recreation system, which enriches the quality of life for our residents and visitors alike, and to maintain the system for future generations.

The Parks Division is responsible for:

  • Cutting and maintaining the grass within the City’s parks
  • Maintaining the City’s baseball, football and soccer fields
  • Maintaining all playground equipment
  • Maintaining the shelters located in the parks

Shelters 

The shelters within the City’s parks can be rented. Reservations are booked on a first come basis. To book your reservation, please click here or contact the Parks and Recreation Coordinator, Ms. Teresa Perry, at (937) 746-5001.

Fields

The athletic fields at the City’s parks can be rented by groups or individuals for a fee. To schedule the use of the fields for athletic events, please click here or contact the Parks and Recreation Coordinator, Ms. Teresa Perry, at (937) 746-5001.

Pool

The Pool located in Community Park is a joint venture between the City and Franklin Township. The pool typically is open every day from Memorial Day to Labor Day, except in cases of inclement weather. Season passes for individuals and families are available at special rates for City and Township residents. Daily admission is also available at the gate. The pool can be rented after hours for pool parties, and the shelter at the pool is available for rental during pool hours.
